Children’s Programs, Resources, & Events

The Taylor Library offers many programs for children of all ages including storytimes, Summer reading, and family events.

Welcome to our Kid’s corner!

We can help you find your next favorite read, entertain the little ones with a variety of fun activities, or provide homework help.

The Library provides materials and programs for children and families of any age. We also provide assistance to teachers, caregivers, and others working with children. Services include drop-in and regular programs for various ages, take and make crafts, school vacation programs, and Summer Reading programs. While you’re here, check out our StoryWalk in the field behind the library and our I-Spy display available seasonally and between programs.

Children’s Story Hour

Story hours are held 3 times per week. We register for a season. You must register for your own family only. Registration is on a first come first served basis. We try and limit the classes to 12 children per class. Story hours are held on Monday and Friday at 10:30 AM for ages 6 months to 4 years and on Tuesday at 4 PM for ages 4 and up. We will mix ages to accommodate families with children falling within the two age groups.
